Mimaki TS55-1800 Sublimation Transfer Printer - (76.8" Media)

The TS55-1800 is Mimaki's latest high productivity dye-sublimation transfer printer. This printer can output transfer paper at a maximum speed of 1,506 SqFt/Hr in four-color mode. New, lower-cost SB610 inks are available in 2 liter bags or in 10kg Tanks for even greater cost reduction (requires optional 10kg ink system). The printer is optimized for running on lighter-weight sublimation paper and can accommodate roll lengths exceeding 8000ft when using the optional Mini-Jumbo Roll Unit.

The TS55-1800 is the ideal printer for volume production of polyester-based team apparel, fashion textiles, home decor fabric, gaming table felt, soft-signage, flags and exhibit graphics.

Highlights of the Mimaki TS300P-1800 Printer

Production print speeds

Four newly developed print heads of 8 channels each are arranged in a 2-line staggered configuration. High-resolution (and ink density) are available even at single pass printing. Speeds of 1506 SqFt/Hr are possible in single-pass, or 753 SqFt/hr in two-pass mode. The TS55 offers production-class speeds at a low entry price.

Options kits for cost reduction and continuous running

Mini Jumbo Roll Unit
This is a feeding unit to load Mimaki Vision Jet-X transfer paper with a length of about 8,202 feet. It reduces the cost per square foot and shortens the downtime due to media replacement in comparison to smaller transfer paper rolls.

10 kg Ink Supply Unit
Allows running Sb610 inks in a 10 liter tank format for even great cost reductions. Provided in this format, original Sb610 inks can be purchased at or below 3rd-party ink costs!

Extended Heater
The extended heater supplements the built-in heaters for improved drying of heavy ink coverage when running at the highest speeds.

New Sb610 inks

Mimaki-developed and manufactured Sb610 sublimation inks offer excellent density even at the highest print speeds. Available in 4-color for maximum speed or with Light Blue, Light Magenta, Light Black, Fluoro Pink and Fluoro Yellow for enhanced quality and vibrancy. The printer accepts two-liter bulk ink bags as standard or 10 liter tanks with optional kit.

Technologies for Reliable, Unattended Print Runs

The TS55 includes Mimaki’s unique automatic Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) for unattended print runs. When the NCU detects a missing nozzle, it automatically performs cleaning to solve the problem. When the missing nozzle is still unsolved even after the cleaning, the Nozzle Recovery System continues printing by switching to another nozzle.
