For international Star Wars day we thought it would be fun to use our demo JFX200-2513 to put one of Jedi Master Yoda's inspirational quotes on a yoga mat... a "Yoda Mat" if you will.

Our in-house designer Wayne threw together a quick layout with a workout-appropriate Yoda quote and we then brought the file into RasterLink Pro 6. Although we could have used both the "Spot Color" and "Valid Pixel" tools together to change the text to white and apply a white underlay behind Yoda, our operator Jenny decided to edit the original file and simply change the fill on the text to 1% Cyan. She was now able to use just the "Valid Pixel" Tool to fill white behind everything. The 1% of cyan fill was virtually undetectable against the white.

The entire Yoga mat took about 7 minutes to print with both white and color at 300x450 12 Pass, Bi Directional, Standard Speed. Inks were LUS-150. Here's an accelerated video of the action:
